CHRISTMAS FUR N FEATHERS COMPETITION
CHRISTMAS COMPETITION:
This event is a festive celebration for all. Held on a weekend just before Christmas a light hearted freindly occassion for all Innis visitors to come together for the fishing and comradeship. With a days fishing and a hearty meal its a great way to start your Christmas. The event has been running for several years and normally has a 9.00am start. If you are interested in any event at Innis you will be well recieved and welcome. On completion of the event competitors will retire to the Knightor Winery at the top of the hill where an excellent lunch menu and lubrication will be available... the price for the christmas dinner will be announced at a later date. Prize giving will take place and will consist of seasonal gifts. A fun event to start your Christmas festivities off, open to all so come and enjoy. PRIZES GALORE and ALL ARE WELCOME:
Dave and Theresa would like to thank all of our anglers who participated in this years festive Fur n Feathers Christmas Competition which was held on Sunday 18th December. This was supposed to be a fun event prior to christmas day. The weather had other ideas. Anglers turned up in the pouring rain which didn't stop all day and with strong winds to boot not a pleasant day for fly fishing. All 17 anglers battled the elements from the start with mixed results and thoroughly earned their festive pasty tea and treats. Thanks to Theresa for getting everything ready in the appalling elements with a hearty lunchbreak and the festivity get together prizegiving at end of fishing with copious seasonal prizes and a raffle to boot. There was a prize for everyone taking part. Normal rules on pegged locations were used and with a rod average of 3.6 fish per angler full results above. Again Dave would like to thank all who attended and wishes a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year... Below is this years winner Andrew Willoughby followed by second third and fourth place.
