This event is a festive celebration for all.
Held on a weekend just before Christmas a light hearted freindly occassion for all Innis visitors to come together for the fishing and comradeship. With a days fishing and a hearty meal its a great way to start your Christmas. The event has been running for several years and normally has a 9.00am start. If you are interested in any event at Innis you will be well recieved and welcome. On completion of the event competitors will retire to the Knightor Winery at the top of the hill where an excellent lunch menu and lubrication will be available... the price for the christmas dinner will be announced at a later date. Prize giving will take place and will consist of seasonal gifts. A fun event to start your Christmas festivities off, open to all so come and enjoy.

PRIZES GALORE and ALL ARE WELCOME:
Innis Christmas Competition this year was held on the last Sunday before Christmas on the 18th December. Nineteen anglers took part with almost 70 trout caught and returned. Fishing was consistent throughout the day with various methods being successful. A festive lunch took place halfway through the day where mulled wine, pasties, christmas fayre and mince pies were served. Newquay angler, Dave Cook, fished well all day catching eight fish for twelve points securing first place, winning a Christmas Turkey hamper. A close second was local angler, Graham Johns, catching seven fish for nine points winning a festive fruit hamper. Third was another Newquay angler, Keith Burnett, catching five fish for nine points....There was a prize for everyone taking part. Full results are shown below.
