Sterrick Lake was pegged so each angler got three pegs in the morning session and three pegs in the afternoon. . Format 5 fish limit... first fish counts 2 points then 1 point for each fish there after per peg. Six peg total most points wins the day.

All in all the whole days fishing was a pleasurable experience for most of the competitors....there were plenty of tugs, pulls and follows to keep each angler attentive to their lines. The whole of the lake fished well throughout the day with all pegs recording good numbers of fish. A total of 67 fish were caught and released, giving a rod average of just over 5 fish per angler. At the end of the morning and afternoon sessions Theresa supplied the refreshments for all... greatly recieved by the competitors.

After all the dust settled the final outcome for the top three qualifiying positions panned out with Lee Ratcliffe 13 points, 3rd place...Pete Runalls 16 points, 3rd place and this years winner DAVE JOHNS 22 points, 1st place.

All three qualified to fish the final on Chatton Trout Fishery next year.
A second heat will be held at Innis in the near future along with the Fritz n Flies Pairs heat - date to be confirmed.
