Our second heat of the ATTEFF Individual Bank Championships was held on Sunday 23rd October. Sixteen anglers braved a dry but blustery day. They overcame the conditions by catching 40 fish between them. The competition was fished pegged on Sterrick Lake with most fish coming to pulling tactics and a few taking dries. Eventual winner was England International, Roger Truscott, with 7 fish for 11 points. Second place went to Kevin Perry with 5 fish for 8 points and Third place went to Len Nottle with 4 fish for 6 points. All three now qualify to fish the National Final being held at Chatton Trout Fishery in May of next year. Congratulations! Everyone who attend gives their thanks to Teresa for the supply of hot drinks ,biscuits and of course the proverbial Cornish tasty Pasty.
